Join us for this months Feature Event and special Thursday night edition of Balance & Swing at the historic New Bedford Free Public Library with caller Paul Wilde. It's the day before Halloween, and we're stoked if you want to wear that costume you've got and make this thing extra cool! Doors @ 6:00 PM
Are you new to contra dancing? You can do it! Every dance is taught. No experience is necessary and it isn't necessary to bring a partner with you either. It’s a joyful experience!
This is a great place to begin your dancing experience. The Old Time Fiddle Session community is committed above all other things to creating participatory traditional music environments where all levels of participation are celebrated and comfortable. Bring water, dress comfortably, and come be a part of something fun. Participants are welcome to join in the community band or the dancing!
