Join Gameloft Brisbane for a special International Women’s Day event dedicated to exploring how we can collectively create fairer, safer, and more inclusive pathways into the games industry.

As a Great Place to Work® certified studio and part of Queensland’s thriving creative ecosystem, Gameloft Brisbane is proud to bring together industry leaders, educators, and developers to share perspectives, lived experiences, and practical actions that can help rebalance access to creative careers.

This event combines expert insights, honest conversations, and meaningful mentorship opportunities designed to support the next generation of talent.

This session examines current data, structural patterns and leadership challenges shaping access, progression and representation in games today. By grounding the conversation in facts and industry realities, it sets the stage for a deeper discussion on how we collectively design fairer systems moving forward.

Fair access to early careers in game development for women (Panel discussion)
Host: Lily Bowditch, Associate Producer I

Info: This panel brings together industry professionals to discuss what fair access to early careers in game development truly looks like. Through honest discussion and lived experience, the conversation will explore entry pathways, credibility and bias, psychological safety, and the practical supports that help build equitable career foundations.

Raffle for a cause !

Info: Participants will have the opportunity to enter a raffle to win a curated selection of video games and books featuring strong female-led stories.

All funds raised will be donated to Zig Zag Foundation, supporting initiatives that help create safer and more inclusive communities.

Mentorship and networking

Info: Participants can take part in optional one-on-one mentorship sessions with Gameloft professionals. Each session lasts approximately 10 minutes and offers personalised advice, guidance, and career insight.

Participants who opt in will complete a short questionnaire in advance to support meaningful mentor matching.

A networking space will also be open for informal conversations with the Gameloft team and fellow attendees.
