Bal Folk Prov - French Breton Music & Dance (Traditional & Contemporary)

Bal Folk Prov is an all-acoustic band based in Providence, Rhode Island, wholly devoted to playing the traditional folk-dance music of France and Brittainy, as well as original dance tunes by two of our own composers that echo the French and Breton traditions. Bal Folk Prov features authentic French folk instruments – accordions, jawharps and cornemuse (French bagpipes) – along with a few unusual acoustic instruments – didgeridoo, jawbone, folk percussion.
