Baking with Honey: honey coffee cake & honey rosemary cookies

September is National Honey Month, so celebrate by making TWO fantastic recipes that use honey.... a honey cinnamon coffee cake AND our honey rosemary cookies (a cult favorite at the bakery!).

In this class, you'll

• whip up fantastic, flavorful drop cookies
• learn the creaming method
• prepare herbs
• make a fluffy, tender coffee cake
• learrn to make a delicious crumble topping by hand

• learn lots of baking tips you can apply to other recipes
• learn about the ingredients-- and more
• meet and learn alongside fun folks
• And you'll take home a batch of cookies AND an 8x8 pan of coffee cake you made yourself!

Good to Know ... The recipes in this class include both regular sugar and honey; this is not a "special diet"/sugar-free baking class.

***PLEASE NOTE: THIS CLASS INCLUDES A TAKE & BAKE COMPONENT! You'll complete the coffee cake, but you may take home cookie dough to chill and bake in your home oven***

No prior baking experience needed. We will use a stand mixer (new to stand mixers? check out our quick tutorial here). Adults only please (age 15+). By registering, you agree to our terms & conditions.

ABOUT MUDDY'S HANDS-ON BAKING CLASSES

Muddy's hands-on baking classes are in-depth AND fun! Class sizes are small so students have ample opportunity for guidance & questions. Your instructor will demonstrate every step of the recipe and be available as you try each step yourself. You will have your own work table and will complete the entire recipe... and of course, you'll leave with your goodies!

Who should participate? Anyone age 15+ who is looking to learn, wants to have fun, or just enjoys baking in company.

Are classes wheelchair accessible? Our tables are height-adjustable, so if you need special accommodations, just let us know ahead of time and we'll be sure to have the table and your spot all ready for you!

What about cancellations? Classes are small and space is limited, so all ticket sales are final. Please check the date/time carefully before booking. If you cannot make it to your class, you may gift your ticket to a friend. If Muddy's must cancel the event for any reason, we will inform you asap and fully refund your ticket.
