Baking History

Explore writing about baking, culture and identity with historic rare books and archival documents from UCL’s Special Collections. Write a creative recipe or baking poem to tell your own story, with inspiration from the Collections, and contemporary writers.

Baked goods will be available at the start of the event. We will try to accommodate dietary requirements, so please let us know if you have any requirements. If you are severely allergic to gluten or other allergens we suggest arriving for 6.00pm when we will transfer to another room for the main workshop.
