The 890s are a funk rock band out of Somerville - originating during 2020, the majority of the band lived in the same 2 apartment house - creating a basement rehearsal space during the lockdown.The band consists of 8 members and frequent guest performers - including but not limited to drums, bass, guitars, keys, saxophone and multiple vocalists.In April of 2024 The 890s released their first studio single, 'Waiting' on Spotify and Apple Music
