Bake Club at Windsor Eats | April Showers

Time to embrace April showers before the flowers! Think dancing in the rain, splashing in puddles, ducks in a pond, and rainbows after rain!

📍 Location: 400 Erie St E Unit 3, Windsor, ON

⏰ Time: 3:00 PM Treats on the table - serving/cutting at 3:30 sharp
🍸 Ticket includes: 1 drink ticket for the WindsorEats bar + 1 box to take home your treats + fork and napkins to enjoy

This event is perfect for anyone who loves baking, sweets, and hanging out with people who get it — whether you’re a total beginner or a full-on pastry pro.

Each guest must bring one April Showers themed baked good to share.

Your dessert can be:

• Homemade or
• Purchased from a local small business

It must:

• Be shelf-stable (treats will be standing 30 min before cutting)
• Provide at least 6 servings
• Bring your dessert on a serving tray, board, box, or stand for display. Disposable or non disposable are both great!

Examples:

• Cake, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, tarts, pies, cream puffs, cinnamon buns, macarons, cake pops, poptarts, danishes, bars, pavlovas, cookie sandwiches, etc.

1. We check your dessert for cleanliness
2. We label it by flavour
3. It gets placed on the display table for everyone to admire
4. Then you’re assigned a group number for picking your servings based on when you arrive. (Arrive early = get first pick plus get extra time to socialize 😉)

🕒 Cutting starts at 3:30 PM

Each group will have up to 10 minutes to fill their box with their slices!

Before we cut anything, you’ll have time to:

• See all the desserts
• Take photos

Then the swap begins! The number of pieces you get is based on how many servings your dessert provides.

Example:
If your cake serves 6, you get 6 pieces of other desserts.

If you’re unsure how many servings your dessert makes, just ask us before cutting.

Once all groups have had their 10 minutes, everyone is free to take whatever is left!

• Individual items (like cupcakes or cookies) will not be cut smaller — please keep sizes reasonable
• All desserts must be shelf-stable
• Everything must be on a tray or stand for display (disposable or reusable is ok)

There’s lots of seating inside and outside.
Windsor Eats will stay open with drinks, food, and games all afternoon and into the evening — so stick around and keep the party going 💖
