Baithak: Ek Ghar Jaisi Shaam

Some evenings you want to feel at home. The songs you grew up with, food that tastes as it should, and people who get it without you having to explain.

That's what Baithak is. A small Bollywood music evening for those of us far from home, building a life here in Germany but still carrying that place inside us.

We'll have a singer, but this isn't a concert where you sit and watch. It's a mehfil. You sing along, you request your favourites, you find the people in the room who miss the same songs you do. We'll have twenty seats, one room, gaane, khaana, and a few hours that feel like ghar.

Your ticket gets you a proper Indian starter and a main course from Welcome India. Drinks and anything extra you fancy, you can order at the venue.

Come alone or bring a friend. You'll leave with a few more.
