It's hard to overstate the impact that both artists had on modern music; their work defined the sound of the 20th century across the world and continues to inspire generations of artists to this day. Despite a decades-long friendship and a rich history of live collaboration, Armstrong and Fitzgerald only released 3 albums together of iconic American Songbook standards.
