Learn one of the hottest Latin Dances worldwide with Bailemos Bachata Knoxville!! Bachata is one of the most popular dances, with a variety of styles (Traditional, Sensual, & Modern). The dance originated in the Dominican Republic with additional styles (modern & sensual) influenced by Spanish culture (from Cadiz, Spain). Bachata can be danced solo or with a partner.
Classes are on Thursday evenings, and this Thursday, we will be at Knox Base, an awesome, new co-working space with a beautiful common area).
We rotate between the three Bachata Styles weekly. We start with a Beginner Class at 7:30 PM and then follow with a small intermission for a little social dance practice and socializing. Then we kick off the Intermediate Class at 8:45 PM with more practice social time to follow until 10:30 PM. On weeks labeled "TRADITIONAL WEEK", we have one open level parterwork class at 7:30pm, and one open level footwork class at 8:45pm.

- Basic Steps / Fundamentals
- Footwork
- Body Movement / Sensual Movement
- Partnerwork (Skills, Connection, and Technique)

What to Know:
- No partner is needed
- $10 per class
- $5 per class for College Students with a Valid ID
- Complimentary appetizers will be provided.

We understand it's really intimidating to start something new, especially if you are starting by yourself. :) We are proud of you for taking the first step. This community is so welcoming and is sensitive to what it's like to start at the beginning, so if you've been nervous about trying the class out, take the leap! You won't regret it!

About your Instructor:
Instructor Krystal Warden was a former gymnast that pursued Salsa and Bachata Dancing in 2018 in Norther Virginia / DC where she learned to dance. Some time later, she began teaching under a dance company called Baila Marcelo Dance Company. She has a passion for community, personal growth, and helping others grow in life and in their dance journey.
