Learn one of the hottest Latin Dances worldwide with Bailemos Bachata Knoxville!! Bachata is one of the most popular dances, with a variety of styles (Traditional, Sensual, & Modern). The dance originated in the Dominican Republic with additional styles (modern & sensual) influenced by Spanish culture (from Cadiz, Spain). Bachata can be danced solo or with a partner. Classes are on Thursday evenings, and this Thursday, we will be at Barrelhouse by Gypsy Circus).
We rotate between the three Bachata Styles weekly. We start with a Beginner Class at 7:30 PM and then follow with a small intermission for a little social dance practice and socializing. Then we kick off the Intermediate Class at 9:00 PM with more practice social time to follow until 10:30 PM. On weeks labeled "TRADITIONAL WEEK", we have one open level parterwork class at 7:30pm, and one open level footwork class at 9:00pm.

- Partnerwork (Skills, Connection, and Technique)
What to Know:
- No partner is needed
- $10 per class
- $5 per class for College Students with a Valid ID
- Food and drinks can by purchased at the venue. Complimentary appetizers will be provided.
We understand it's really intimidating to start something new, especially if you are starting by yourself. :) We are proud of you for taking the first step. About your Instructor:
Instructor Krystal Warden was a former gymnast that pursued Salsa and Bachata Dancing in 2018 in Norther Virginia / DC where she learned to dance. Some time later, she began teaching under a dance company called Baila Marcelo Dance Company. She has a passion for community, personal growth, and helping others grow in life and in their dance journey.
