Monday 22nd – Friday 26th July 2024 | 10am – 1pm | Ulster University, York Street, BT15 1EDCounty Down native Grahame Harris is a piper with extensive experience and knowledge of the Highland Bagpipes having studied under the late Freddy Russell and Roddy MacLeod MBE. He has played with Bleary and District Pipe Band and Cullybackey Pipe Band in Grade 1, and in his youth won the Highlands and Islands Young Piper of the Year and the All Ireland Open Piobaireachd. He has recorded and performed with various artists including the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, Ulster Orchestra, Carlos Núñez, The National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland and has travelled worldwide to teach and perform. Grahame is founder of Harris Kilt Company, Harris Piping and Bandmaster of Campbell College Bugles, Pipes and Drums.
