Bag Pet Food + Treats for Pet Owners in Need

WHY IS THIS WORK IMPORTANT:

This hands-on volunteer work will benefit Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest.

Lutheran Social Services assists clients with shopping services, Meals on Wheels + direct care works. Clients who receive these services are not physically able to prepare + shop for their own meals, including ensuring their beloved pet has the nutrition they need.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Kid Volunteers will work together to pack bags of food + treats for owners enrolled in a pet food program as part of Lutheran Social Services' Aging and Disability program. Because of this program, clients are no longer having to choose pet food over prescriptions or share their meals with their pets.

KIND NOTES:

This is an indoor and in-person volunteer project.

All supplies will be provided. Help us continue to provide fun + meaningful in-person family volunteer projects and consider making a donation today.

A takeaway snack will be provided for the Kid Volunteers at the completion of the project.

WHY YOU'LL BE ASKED TO PAY A FAMILY REGISTRATION FEE:

Our small family registration fee enables Crafting Kind Kids, a 501(c)(3) organization, to offset volunteer costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more give-back kindness projects for our kids, families + non-profit partners.
