Join us for an engaging and insightful workshop with N'Jeri Eaton, Head of Audio/Podcast Programming at Netflix, designed to help you find the perfect medium for your story! Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Emerson College Los Angeles Center.
"Is Your Story a Doc or Podcast?" workshop is tailored for filmmakers, journalists, and storytellers who are exploring whether their narrative ideas would resonate better as a visual documentary or an immersive audio podcast.
Additional guest speakers include BADWest members PaSean Wilson Ashley and Steve Williams who will share their experiences and case studies.

N’Jeri Eaton has spent her career developing, producing and supporting creators, first in documentary film and then in podcasting. She is the Head of Audio/Podcast Programming at Netflix. Previously, N’Jeri was the Head of Content for Apple Podcasts where she worked with both internal and external partners to bring great content to the service. While serving as the Director of Programming and New Audiences at National Public Radio, she sourced new talent, partnerships and content including Believed (Peabody winner), White Lies (Pulitzer finalist) and No Compromise (Pulitzer winner). She also served as the Content Development & Initiative Manager at the Independent Television Service where she managed two of their largest funding initiatives and was the consulting producer on almost 80 films. N’Jeri received her M.A. at the UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism and her B.A. from Emerson College. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and cat Rube Goldberg.
