Badger Surveying Workshop

Building on our badger surveying webinar, this workshop will give you the opportunity to see badger field signs in person and learn how to survey for them. Here's what you can expect:

• Put your theoretical skills into use with practical fieldwork; log mammal signs and classify setts

• Follow a short nature trail around Corstorphine hill, with a break for lunch and chitchat

• Learn first-hand from trained ecologists and nature experts how to spot badgers in our landscape!

Attendance at the badger survey webinar prior to the workshop is not mandatory but it's recommended so you learn the key knowledge to put into practice in the field. No prior ecology experience is required to join in!
