Orly K.G. – as recently seen on The Kelly Clarkson Show on NBC – continues to hustle her way into the Chicago comedy scene with her antics about marriage, shame eating, and her constantly decaying body. She’s hosted for Jeff Garlin, appeared at Chicago's Comedy Bar, The Lincoln Lodge, Annoyance Theater, Bughouse Theater, and at her weekly open mic at The Cabin at Old Irving Park. Orly K.G. also produces Bad Momz of Comedy for Chicago-area school groups. This Jewish mom is funny -- but PLEASE do not call her Mrs. Maisel. Oy! www.chicagocomedyworks.com.
Comics
Deanna Ortiz - is the host of the podcast ‘Crushes! with Deanna Ortiz’ as well as The Drunk Cooking Show on Instagram. Crushes! was nominated for Best Podcast in the Chicago Reader Best Of 2020 and has also been featured in Vulture for the ‘Hot Or Just Tall’ game that accompanies it. Deanna is a cast member of The Lincoln Lodge and has opened for Matteo Lane, Liza Treyger, Hannah Einbinder, and more.
Laura Hugg - is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory. With plenty of sketch improv and storytelling under her belt, the last decade plus, Laura’s focus has been standup comedy. Laura has performed at such clubs as Zanies, Laugh Factory, and Caroline’s in NYC. She has co-produced several successful showcases and long running open mics. Currently, Laura produces and hosts a comedy variety show, Keep Coming Back. Inspired by surviving the pandemic, performers do material about how they get through different things. Laura also co-produces two Chicagoland stand up showcases, Laughs on a Hot Tin Roof and Comedy at MadCats.
Lia Berman - hails from Boston but has called Chicago home for 20 years. In addition to working her full-time job, she is running the Logan Lounge Open Mic in Logan Square Chicago, helping to produce Backroom Comedy in Lincoln Park, working out at the 5 am OrangeTheory class, she also is a mom! Lindsay Porter - has done stand-up at Zanies, The Comedy Shrine, The Laugh Factory, Lincoln Lodge, Chicago Women’s Funny Fest, Waukegan Comedy Jam, Lady Laughs Comedy in Madison, Funnier by the Lake, Oak Park Comedy Club, and in line at Trader Joe's. Lindsay is one of the original Bad Momz of Comedy, having been in the inaugural show in Glenview. She would like to give a shout out to Orly KG for starting the Bad Momz and for being fabulous!
Mo Good - is an up and coming female comedian from the south side of Chicago. This mother of two has headlined at comedy clubs all over the country including The Laugh Factory, Riddles, Zanies, The Comedy Bar, and The House of Blues. Best known for her hilarious story telling on and off stage. Hosting several events, producing local showcases all while working in Healthcare, this artist never runs out of relatable material.

Transportation/Parking
There is convenient taxi/Uber drop-off in our circle drive located at Fullerton and Lake Shore Drive. Limited valet parking will be available. There is paid parking available at Lincoln Park Zoo. Discounted parking vouchers for the LP Zoo lot are available to purchase from Theater on the Lake for $17. You can purchase the voucher upon your arrival at Theater on the Lake.
There is also metered parking at the harbor parking lot located at Cannon and Fullerton. Additionally, there is free street parking located on Cannon just north of Fullerton.
Accessibility & Accommodations
Theater on the Lake is fully accessible for wheelchair users. Guests who need special accommodations for seating or other assistance, please purchase your tickets now, and then contact [email protected] to make arrangements at least 5-days prior to the show.
Beverages
Bar service will be available when doors open at 6 p.m. and ending approximately an hour after the show.
Food
The Lakefront Restaurant will be open for the evening. Enjoy dinner before or after the show. Reservations are highly encouraged. Visit www.theateronthelake.com to reserve your table.

Guests are welcome to take photos, but we do ask you to refrain from using flash.
Bags
Small purses are allowed and will be subject to search. Backpacks, brief cases or other bags of any kind are not allowed.
