Meet Bad Hair Day – our wonderfully shaggy alpaca with heaps of personality and a hairstyle all of his own!
In this fun, relaxed in-person soft pastel workshop, I’ll guide you step by step as we create this characterful alpaca portrait, concentrating on those fabulous tufts of fur, expressive eyes, soft muzzle and wonderfully fluffy ears.
We’ll explore how to build up the different colours and textures of the fleece without getting caught up in painting every individual hair, using layers of soft pastel and pastel pencils to create depth, movement and detail.
Suitable for beginners as well as those with pastel experience, you’ll be guided through the whole painting at a comfortable pace and leave with your own finished Bad Hair Day alpaca portrait.
All materials are provided, so simply come along, enjoy the process and have some fun with pastels!
