A Sister Act Bar Crawl

Bad Habits! Grab your friends, don your best nun-inspired attire, and head to Downtown DeLand for a spirited bar crawl inspired by Sister Act, the musical comedy launching the Athens Theatre's 2026–2027 Season.
Meet at the Athens Theatre at 5:00 PM, then make your way through downtown as we visit participating bars and restaurants before heading back to the Athens for the 7:30 PM performance of Sister Act. Guests are encouraged to dress in nun-inspired attire, disco fashions, choir robes, halos, or any other Sister Act-inspired look. The more heavenly, the better.
Enjoy great company, photo opportunities, and a chance to celebrate one of the most joyful musicals to hit the Athens stage. After all, how often do you get the chance to spend an evening hopping between downtown bars with a crowd of nuns?
Participation in the crawl is free. Food and beverages are purchased individually at each stop. Guests who choose to partake in spirited refreshments are encouraged to do so responsibly.
Admission to the 7:30 PM performance of Sister Act is not included with the bar crawl and must be purchased separately.
Get into the habit of supporting live theatre. Following the spirit has never been this much fun.
