**Bad Authors**
Formed in 2023, Asheville-based Bad Authors present a dynamic and genre-bending set of songs, steeped in the indie traditions of the 80s, 90s, & 00s. They bring sincere music in an organic, immediate fashion, eschewing gimmickry in favor of good old-fashioned human expression. The vocal harmonies of former Lower Dens member, Geoff Graham (bass/ vox) and guitarist Dave Burr, take flight above Burr’s Peter Buck-inspired riffs and drummer Brian Palmieri’s energetic grooves. Each member of Bad Authors contributes to the songbook, creating an eclectic blend of well-crafted songs ranging from the heartfelt and brooding to the absurd and barn-burning.
**We Have Ignition**
We Have Ignition erupts into a deluge of hard driving instrumental frequencies. A power trio lifts off with its roots in surf rock but evolving into something more frenetic and unrelenting with influences also reaching into punk, progressive, psychedelic, and new wave.
Conjuring images of strange alien worlds yet to be explored. Venturing out into the vast unknown reaches of space and time. The mission of We Have Ignition is to discover new, uncharted musical landscapes with the force of a sonic boom cascading across the sky.
