Backyard Ultra 2026 (12hr)

4 miles every hour, on the hour, for 12 hours
That’s 48 miles / 78K — how far can you go? The Backyard Ultra is for everyone, no matter your level. 💪

How it works:

• 1 route, 1 loop every hour… for 12 hours.
  
• Complete as many loops as you can.
  
• The first person back on hour/loop 12 is the winner 🥇
  Your race ends if:
  
• You don’t complete a loop within the hour
  
• You don’t start your loop on the hour
  
• No pacers allowed
  

This isn’t meant to be easy — but it is meant to be fun! 🙌

Route: Our usual short Thursday night route, in reverse, starting from Left Handed Giant Taproom, St. Philips. (Road shoes recommended)

• Number pick up from 6:45 am for an 8 :00 am Race Start
  
• Please sign the waiver on the day of the event
  
• Friends and family may only consume coffee, cakes, drinks, and food at our venue. Please do not bring food or drinks from other venues
  
• No pacers allowed — anyone running with you who isn’t part of the event will disqualify you
  
• No refunds 7 days before the event
  
• Number swaps are not allowed — you signed up for it, you run it
