Join us in the garden with pollinator ecologist Kristin Conrad to learn about the diversity of insects that reside in downtown Frankfort. We will start in the Orlando Brown House parlor looking at specimens and field guides. Then we will head outside with nets in tow! She will lead us in catching and identifying what we find, and teach us how we can support these critters in our own gardens.
This is a program for the whole family; kids are welcome! However, we will be engaging with live insects (some with stingers) and specimens on sharp pins, so proactive parent supervision is very important. Please register for your total expected guests at libertyhall.org
