Backyard Home Composting Workshop
Join us at the beautiful Hagafen Cellars Winery
for a FREE workshop on Backyard Home Composting!
This outdoor class will be held on Saturday,
March 22nd from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM.***
***Please note- In case of rain a secondary venue will be back-up. Please lookout for an email with instructions and directions to our backup location if it looks like we may be rained out.
Led by The Master Gardeners of Napa County, you'll learn to reduce and eliminate yard trimmings, incorporate organics, and turn it all into wonderfully rich, free compost for your garden!
- You'll discover the basics of hot and cool composting, composting with worms and grasscycling.
- Become familiar with tools and types of bins
- Learn the ins and outs of recycling yard trimmings, garden waste, and food scraps.
At the conclusion of the workshop, you will have the opportunity to purchase a highly discounted backyard compost bin of your own for $20.00 (One bin per household).
Pre-registration is required, and space is limited, so please RSVP to reserve your spot!
