This year marks the 50th anniversary of Philadelphia International Records, home of the immortal “Philly Soul” sound. Up-and-coming Twin Cities vocalist Geoff Jones brings his resonant baritone and tight instrumental combo to celebrate the infectious grooves and melodies of this music, including hits by the O’Jays, the Spinners, Teddy Pendergrass, the Stylistics and many others. These songs have dominated the airwaves from their late-20th century heyday to the present day – not to mention bumping from the speakers at Uncle Ray-Ray's backyard barbeque!
