?? BACKPACKING CATALINA ISLAND ??The Trans-Catalina Trail is an epic backpacking route crossing Catalina Island, a stunning, rocky island off the coast of Southern California! During the day, we will hike with non-stop ocean views, and pass sailboat-spotted coves. Keep an eye out for the bison that roam the island! At night, enjoy secluded beach camping at some of the most beautiful campsites in CA. This trip blends rugged backpacking, with luxury island life, so it is perfect for backpackers who aren't ready to give up all the amenities quite yet. Make sure to sign up asap, this event fills up fast... You don't want to miss out on an awesome opportunity soak up nature, and bond with fellow UD members on this super fun trip!

? 3 nights wilderness camping permits
? Elevations between 0- 1,800ft
? Potential for rain and exposure
? Experience: You should have previous experience with camping and long hiking trips and be able to carry 30-40lb backpack over 9 miles w/ rest stops.
