Join us for Backpack Bash 2026, a free community event dedicated to helping students throughout the Tampa Bay area start the new school year prepared for success. Through the generosity of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners, families will have the opportunity to receive backpacks filled with essential school supplies while enjoying a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.

Backpack Bash is more than a backpack giveaway—it's an opportunity for our community to come together, invest in the next generation, and remind every student that they are supported, valued, and capable of achieving great things.

Because when a community invests in its children, it invests in its future.

Families are encouraged to register in advance to help us prepare backpack inventory and create the best possible experience for everyone attending. We look forward to welcoming you and your family!

About the Event

Backpack Bash 2026 is a community-wide back-to-school initiative hosted by The Bautista Project Inc., a veteran-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering communities through service.

Our mission is simple: to help students begin the school year prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.

This event is designed to provide backpacks filled with essential school supplies while bringing together volunteers, community partners, businesses, and local organizations who believe every child deserves the opportunity to start school with the tools they need to learn and grow.

Whether you're joining us as a family, volunteer, sponsor, or community supporter, thank you for helping us invest in the future of our children.

To help us prepare for the event and serve as many families as possible, registration is limited to one (1) registration per household.

Please register all school-aged children in your household during the registration process. This information helps us accurately prepare backpack inventory and plan for the needs of our community.

To ensure we can assist the greatest number of families, households may initially receive up to two (2) backpacks during distribution.

If backpacks remain after all registered households have been served, additional backpacks may be distributed based on available inventory and household need.

Our goal is to serve every family with fairness, dignity, and respect while making the best use of community donations.
