Mark your calendar for the LA Local Background Actors' social event you do not want to miss!
The LA Local Background Actors Committee is excited to invite you to join fellow SAG-AFTRA Background Actors for a two-hour social mixer and trivia night at the LA Local SAG-AFTRA office.
Whether you're a seasoned veteran or new to the membership, knowledge is power when you learn about working under your union contracts. Please join us for a fun, informational and educational evening of schmoozing with your peers, and engage in a Q&A session (with a twist)—a members' trivia game!
So grab your Background Actors Digest, freshen up on the FAQs, and familiarize yourself with SAG-AFTRA’s Website. It's a perfect opportunity to meet in a fun, relaxed social environment and learn more about your contracts with others in the background community while enjoying a complimentary dinner and soft drinks.
When: Monday, Nov. 2 from 6 - 8 p.m. PT
Where: SAG-AFTRA Plaza, James Cagney Board Room
5757 Wilshire Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90036
Parking: Enter the garage via Curson Ave. and bring your parking ticket for validation.
Questions? Contact the Background Actors Department at (323) 549-6811 or [email protected].
This event is only open to SAG-AFTRA LA Local members in good standing (paid through October 31, 2026 or April 30, 2027). Unfortunately, no guests allowed. Performers under 18 years old must be accompanied by their parent/guardian.
