Date: February 1-2Program Title: Backcountry Yurt Snowshoe Trip – Tushar Mountains
Cost: $275 per person / $100 per person - RecOn (Active Duty & Dependents)
Age: 18+
Details: The Tushar Mountain Range is the third highest in Utah but accumulates more snow than many other areas across the United States. Throw in peaks up to 12,000’ with sweeping vistas and large snow bowls, the views are top notch. We will be exploring these beautiful mountains as we snowshoe into a primitive, canvas yurt miles into the woods. During the day we will head out to explore some of the local high peaks and in the evening we will rest in peace, salience and solitude with no electricity or running water by a wood stove while sitting on our cots and relaxing after an adventurous day. This unique trip includes yurt fees, equipment, food, transportation, and guides.
