There’s snow in the mountains, and you know what that means: it’s time for the 7th Annual Backcountry Bash! We are thrilled to be hosting the event at The Monarch this year.
This is the main fundraising event for Ogden Avalanche, and we rely on this funding to put on the programming you love: Backcountry 101’s, B-Street Series, trailhead beacon checkers, Know Before You Go classes, beacon clinics, and professional development and mentorship opportunities. Additionally, this year our very own Sierra Bishop will be piloting a women’s mentorship program to get more women out in the backcountry: @wasatchbackcountrymentors. If you love what we do, come out and support us in the cause. Every penny you spend contributes to local avalanche education and information. Oh and thank you @valerieblack.art for the rad poster!!
