Let’s take a drive up a very scenic and sometimes challenging road from Lake Pleasant to the historic mining town of Crown King. This desert to the pines drive is pretty much an all day affair, plan on at least 6 hours of being on the dirt. Something like a stock Jeep Rubicon can take on this trail without issue. If you are running at least 33” tall tires with some good tire placement your vehicle can do it! Let’s meet at the Shell gas station on Lake Pleasant Pkwy just south of SR-74 ( the Carefree Hwy ) at 10:00 on Wednesday the 23rd.
