We’ll kick things off with a casual Friday meetup, followed by Saturday’s tailgate as we cheer on WVU against Virginia. Whether you’re traveling in or already in Charlotte, grab your people, pack your gold and blue, and join us!

Info: We’re kicking off the weekend with a casual Friday evening meetup! Join fellow Black Mountaineers at a local Charlotte restaurant or bar for good conversation, good vibes, and a chance to connect before Saturday’s festivities.
There’s no formal program. Just come through, grab a drink or a bite, and start the weekend with us.
Location and time will be shared with registered attendees. Food and drinks will be available for individual purchase.

Info: It’s game day! Join the WVU Black Alumni Association for an evening of good food, good drinks, good music, and Black Mountaineer pride as we gather in the Queen City.
Come ready to eat, connect, and enjoy the evening with fellow alumni, family, and friends.

Game Watch Party - September 19, 2026
Info: Not heading into the stadium? No problem. Join fellow Black Mountaineers to catch the WVU vs. Virginia game together!
We’ll gather at a local Charlotte spot to watch the game, cheer on the Mountaineers, and enjoy some good company. Come grab a seat, order what you like, and watch with your WVU Black Alumni family.
Food and drinks are available for individual purchase.
