Back to Shul is a joyful entry point into community life: a time to reconnect, explore, and deepen your sense of belonging. Whether you’re new to Emanu-El or have been part of this community for years, this evening is designed to help you engage with the people, spaces, and ideas that make it so vibrant.
What to Expect
Come early to explore, connect, and get a feel for all that Emanu-El has to offer:
- Meet fellow congregants who are shaping and leading meaningful programs
- Learn about ways to get involved in social, spiritual, and justice-focused initiatives
- Connect with clergy, staff, and community leaders
- Explore our spaces and experience how they come alive through community
Enjoy food from our incredible chef, along with offerings from local partners, as you mingle and learn more about what’s happening across Emanu-El.
Before services, make sure you visit the Beit Midrash — Amir Magal, a visual artist whose caligraphy adorns the columns found in our lobby, Ulam, and Moadon, as well as the designer of the Beit Midrash’s L’dor Vador artwork, will be creating henna-style Judaic body art for congregants of all ages.
From 6:00 - 7:00 PM, we’ll gather for a Shabbat service led by our clergy team, with beautiful music from our cantors, creating a space for reflection, connection, and community.
