Back to School Sunday & Blessing of the Backpacks

As a new school year begins, we invite students, teachers, administrators, school staff, and college students to join us for a special Back to School Sunday.
During both worship services, we will offer a Blessing of the Backpacks as we pray for all those beginning a new year of learning, teaching, serving, growing, and leading. Whether you're heading to preschool, elementary school, middle school, high school, college, or returning to the classroom as an educator or staff member, this blessing is for you.
Bring your backpack, school bag, laptop bag, lesson planner, teacher tote, or anything that represents the work and learning ahead. Together, we'll ask God's blessing upon the year to come... praying for wisdom, courage, curiosity, friendship, patience, and the reminder that no one walks into a new season alone.
As we begin another year of classrooms, hallways, homework, meetings, practices, and new opportunities, let us send one another into the year surrounded by prayer and encouragement. We look forward to celebrating and blessing this new season with you.
