The beginning of a new school year can bring excitement, but it can also create anxiety, emotional outbursts, separation worries, and difficult changes in routine.
If your child struggles before school, comes home overwhelmed, or melts down after holding it together all day, you are not alone.
Join Sunset Coast Family Therapy for a free, attachment-based parenting workshop designed to help parents better understand what may be happening beneath their child’s behavior. You will learn practical ways to respond with greater confidence, strengthen connection, and help your child feel more secure throughout the school year.
This workshop is designed for parents and caregivers of children ages 5–12.
What You’ll Learn
During this workshop, we will discuss:
- How to support children experiencing school anxiety or separation worries
- Why children may have emotional meltdowns after school
- Strategies for making morning and evening routines easier
- Ways to help children regulate overwhelming emotions
- Attachment-based tools that strengthen safety and connection
- Practical approaches you can begin using at home
- How to recognize when your child may benefit from additional support
The workshop will conclude with a live question-and-answer session with a family therapist.
