We can’t wait to welcome all of our BEARY amazing students and families to our Back-to-School Orientation on Thursday, August 6, 2026!
✨ Here’s what’s happening:
📍 Title I Annual Meeting — Join us in the cafeteria at 12:30 PM or 2:00 PM
📍 Orientation — 1:00–2:00 PM
Be sure to explore our family resource booths that will be in the rotunda and cafeteria featuring:
✅ HBE PTO and SAC
✅ After-School Programs�✅ Freedom Public Library�✅ Scouts�✅ MCPS Transportation�✅ MAP (Extended Day)�✅ And so much more!
💊 The school clinic will also be open for medication drop-off (with the required documentation).
🌟 New This Year! 🌟
Our incoming Kindergarten Bears are invited to attend Kindergarten Meet & Greets in the Media Center during Orientation on August 6th! 🍎 A formal Kindergarten Orientation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 9:00–10:00 AM.
We’re excited to connect with our families, share important resources, and kick off another fantastic school year together. See you there! 🐻❤️
