Back to School Night!This event is intended for parents of currently enrolled students, and is split into two sections. At the beginning we will have presentations from the counselors from 5:30-5:55pm in the gym.
From 6:00-8:00 parents and guardians are welcome to stop by their student's classes and meet the teachers.
A Spanish interpreter will be available.
Doors open at 5:05pm.
5:30-5:55 - Workshops with Counselors
"Senior Timeline" - Review of financial aid, college applications, and scholarships
"Courses with Grade Bumps" - Understanding class that can up your GPA: AP, Honors Courses, Dual Enrollment and College Courses
5:55-6:10 - Welcome from Principal Standish
6:15-8:00 - Attend Classes and Meet Teachers
Pick up your student's schedule in the foyer of the New Gym. We have allotted 10 minutes for each period and 5 minutes passing in between.
Period 1: 6:15-6:25
Period 2: 6:30-6:40
Period 3: 6:45-6:55
Period 4: 7:00-7:10
Period 5: 7:15-7:25
Period 6: 7:30-7:40
Period 0 / Extra Questions: 7:45-8:00
Teachers will be staying in their classrooms from 7:45-8:00 if you missed a class or have any extra questions for them.
The Wellness Center and the Community Schools located on the back of the Lecture Hall, room IT101, will also be open for Back to School Night. Any questions you may have about student mental health and the services we provide can be answered there.
We will also have computer kiosks available for guardians to update their emergency information and complete the Annual Notice paperwork.
