We’re excited to invite you to be part of something powerful. On Saturday, August 17, The Heart of Kansas City Foundation is hosting our Back-to-School Drive.
This event is all about preparing students in the Kansas City School District for success by providing fresh haircuts, hairstyles, and school supplies—so they can return to school confident, motivated, and ready to thrive.
We believe that when students feel good about how they look and have the tools they need, they walk into classrooms with their heads held high and minds focused.
What We’re Asking:
• Date: Saturday, August 17
• Location: 3417 E. 12th St., Kansas City, MO
• Time: 3pm-6pm
• Who You’ll Be Helping: Students in the Kansas City School District
• How You’ll Make an Impact: Offering free haircuts or hairstyles to students of all ages
In addition to grooming services, we’re collecting school supplies for all age groups—from elementary to high school. If you or someone you know would like to contribute, we are accepting backpacks, notebooks, pencils, folders, glue, markers, and more.
This is more than an event—it’s a movement of love, confidence, and community.
