🚴♂️ Legacy Community Services Back-to-School Ride
Date: Friday, July 24, 2026
Type: Casual, community-paced social ride
Admission: Free, but riders are encouraged to bring a donation item or scan to donate.
🎒 The Cause: What to Bring
The ride will actively collect supplies for the drive. Riders can bring any of the following lightweight items in their backpacks or panniers:
Backpacks, notebooks, folders, and binders
Pencils, pens, crayons, and markers
Glue sticks, scissors, erasers, and rulers
📍 Route & Logistics Plan
Because Brooks' Bike Shop locations are official drop-off bin sites, you can structure the ride to start or end right at the shop to make donating seamless.
Option A (Covington Route): Gather at the Covington shop location, take a relaxed cruise through downtown or along the local trail systems, and return to drop off supplies.
Option B (Mandeville Route): Gather at the Mandeville location, ride down toward the lakefront or local pathways, and loop back to fill the donation bin.
Event Timeline Suggestion
5:30 PM – Meet & Greet: Riders arrive at the shop, check in, and safely secure any heavier donation items directly into the official drop-off bin.
6:00 PM – Wheels Roll: A casual, easy-paced 5 to 10-mile ride accessible for all skill levels and bike types.
7:00 PM – Post-Ride Hangout: Return to the shop for refreshments.
