Back to School Braids- VOLUNTEERS

You should arrive no later than 7:30am. This will give everyone time to sanitize tools and set up their stations before girls start to arrive at 8am.

Attire: preferably solid black shirt and pants, blue jeans are acceptable.

Supplies: We will provide parting combs, clips, rubberbands and JAM hair gel. We've received a donation of braiding hair from Gyal Braids in colors 1B, 2 and 4. You are welcome to bring any additional supplies and/or hair you might need to execute the style options.

Styles: Girls will select from the three styles listed on the flyer. For girls 5 years and younger, we will be adding hair to the ends of the braid avoiding direct contact with their scalp to prevent inflammation. Girls should arrive with their hair clean and dry. Styles should take about 2 hours, to maximize the number of girls we can serve. The last client will be taken at 2pm and the event will officially end at 4pm.

This is an opportunity to promote your business. Feel free to give out your cards and share your social media pages with our guests. Parents have also been encouraged to tip volunteer stylists. This will be an exciting day and our efforts will be appreciated by everyone we touch!
