Back to School Blessing!

The back-to-school rush brings excitement and nerves for both parents and students. Before the busy schedules take over, your family deserves a space to pause and connect. Join us in Virginia Highland on August 2nd at 5 PM for our Back to School Blessing. Bring your students and their backpacks as we gather to center our intentions and send the kids into the new academic year with love and encouragement.

This special evening also marks the Fall semester kick-off for Collective Kids. At the collective, an inclusive church for love and justice, we are explicitly LGBTQ+ affirming and dedicated to building a welcoming space where all of who you are is welcome.

Our kids ministry is full of joy, curiosity, and big-time love. Your children will explore faith through stories, songs, and hands-on activities. We play, we wonder, and we learn about a God who loves everyone with no exceptions. Every child is celebrated and encouraged to grow in faith and kindness. On our regular 1st and 3rd Sundays, kids begin worship alongside the full community before heading to a nearby space designed just for their developmental needs. We also host monthly family outings where kids and grown-ups can connect, laugh, and build a supportive village together.
