Join The Lending Hand for our Backpack Drive Happy Hour & Karaoke Night on Thursday, August 13 from 4:30–8:30 PM at Alexandria Bier Garden!
The Lending Hand is a local community initiative built around a simple mission: neighbors taking care of neighbors. What began as a small family effort has grown into a community-driven movement supporting local families through backpack drives, turkey distributions, toy drives, and other seasonal outreach events throughout Northern Virginia and the DMV.
Come enjoy discounted signature shooters, drinks, karaoke, and great vibes on the second floor—all while helping local students start the school year prepared. Last year, we provided more than 300 fully stocked backpacks, and this year we’re aiming to match or surpass that number.
Each backpack and set of school supplies costs about $10, so every donation makes a meaningful difference. Whether you love to sing or would rather cheer from the crowd, come have a great time, meet good people, and help us give back where we grew up.
