                                    	About this Event
This session will focus on strength, conditioning and drills for those new to handsprings and those that are trying to perfect them. A confident back walkover is required due to safety(usually sheet level 1 or above for Brave members).
Please line up outside. We will open the door at the start time of the event and let out athletes just before the finish time for athletes to be collected. Please note, once you are checked into this session and come into the gym, there is no front of house open during this time for guests/parents to wait.
Attire
The most appropriate attire for Brave is comfortable sports clothing. Please avoid zips, buckles, metal buttons; athletes may be asked to sit out of certain activities if their clothing is not suitable, for example zips can scratch others whilst stunting. You can have bare feet or cheer shoes (not split soles) for cheer and tumble classes and bare feet for dance. If you would like a recommendation when purchasing cheer shoes, we suggest Excel Cheer Centre online - the Nfinity Evolutions.
Hair
Hair must be tied back for training so that it does not obstruct athletes' vision or interfere with their performance. Please ensure your child’s hair is properly secured prior to the start of the session.
Jewellery
Jewellery should not be worn whilst participating in sessions. New piercings may be taped over during the first few sessions after the piercing. This should be done before the start of class, Brave are not responsible for supplying tape. As soon as it is safely possible, the piercing should be removed for class.
Nails
Due to the nature of the actives, long, sharp, false or acrylic nails are not suitable.
Eating and Drinking
Participants are to bring strictly water only in a named water bottle. Glass water bottles are not permitted. Athletes should not eat during training sessions unless for medical reasons. This should be arranged with the head coach in advance. No food is permitted in the gym. There are times where athletes will have lunch at Brave, such as during full day camps. Information regarding this will be detailed at the top of the description if it is relevant.
Closed Viewing
Due to the positive and relaxed culture at Brave, we implement a closed session policy. We find this helps participants to feel at ease and confident to step outside their comfort zone to progress. We are happy to provide feedback on your child’s progress, please refer to the ‘Contacting the Coaches and Getting Feedback’ section of our Club Handbook on IClassPro. During the summer, we often have the doors open, please be aware that many children lose their confidence when people gather here and if you can avoid standing in this area where possible that would be greatly appreciated.
Parking
Please use the parking bays provided to the side and back of the premises, depending on the time of day there may also be roadside parking. Please avoid parking in the neighbouring businesses spaces whilst they are open.
