Bachfest! will feature a variety of Johann Sebastian Bach’s music for chorus and orchestra. After the spectacular opening movement of the Magnificat, ChoralSong will perform the beloved cantata Wachet Auf featuring soloists Jamal Sarikoki & David Price, the motet Lobet den Herrn, and a sampling of movements from some of Bach’s other well-loved works, such as Ein Feste Burg and Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring. For a special treat, in the very center of the concert, the orchestra will perform the ever-popular Brandenburg Concerto #3. This will be an experience you do not want to miss!
