Bachata is one of the most popular social dances of this generation and often goes hand in hand with Salsa dancing! On Tuesday nights, we will focus on Bachata basics and what it means to connect on the social dance floor. Once you're comfortable with the basics and understand connection, lead, and follow, learning patterns is easy!
Each beginners' class starts with the baby basic steps, and progresses from there. Learning anything is a process, so we encourage dancers to attend class often and regularly. You'll see your ability improve week after week!
The Intermediate class kicks off with more challenging footwork patterns, and then moves on to partnerwork. We will also start exploring Bachata musicality and styling.
Practice what you learned with a practice party with Salsa and Bachata music. Stacey will be available to answer questions or to try your new dance moves with.
