Everyone! Welcome to Grand Opening of Bachata Tuesday in Houston at the beautiful Love Dance HTX! Get ready to move your hips to the amazing rhythms of Bachata at a state of the art facility near Memorial Park. You get fun lessons, awesome atmosphere, cold AC, smooth dance floor, fun light show, secure free parking, lots of drink and menu options from Cheba Hut and Holler Brewing Co, beautiful people, and an energetic social environment!

Remember that no partner needed! Single and couples welcome! Event is 18+, casual to dressy attire.

All levels welcome. From beginner to seasoned dancer. Bachata is super easy to learn.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our mission is to make you look great on the dance floor. We will teach you the essential techniques and turns of Bachata: Traditional, Modern, and Sensual styles. In no time you will be doing the basic steps, turns, waves, figures, and combinations. After the lessons, stay for non-stop Bachata dance party in Midtown Houston!

BACHATA TUESDAY SCHEDULE

✓ 7:15p. Check-in. Grab a drink, snack to eat.

✓ 7:30-8:30p. Bachata Beginner 1. Basic steps, warm up, footwork, turns and easy patterns (Perfect for beginners)

✓ 8:30-9:30p. Bachata Beginner 2. Turns, waves, combos, and dips class. (Open to all levels)

✓ 9:45-12:00a Bachata Social Outing for the students and everyone ? We will head over to dance at Tropicana Night Club on Fondren. Free Cover.

CLASS LEVEL

✓ Beginner 1: Intro level, Level 0, Baby steps to latin dancing. No experience required.

✓ Beginner 2: Basic understanding of the foundations of Bachata. Some experience required.

✓ Singles rotate with everyone.

✓ Couples can stay together or join the rotation.

HOW TO JOIN / TICKET PRICE

BACHATA BEGINNER 1

Singles: $20/person drop-in per class.

Couples: $35/couple drop-in per class.

BACHATA BEGINNER 2

Singles: $20/person drop-in

Couples: $35/couple drop-in

Beginner 2* students can access beginner 1 class for free if they like to review their basics.

*You must show that you are proficient on the basic steps and variations, how to lead and follow and be familiar with common turns in bachata. Do not skip levels.
