Bachata Dance Classes in San Mateo

Bachata is a very popular latin dance that originated in the Dominican Republic in the first half of the 20th century. We invite you to come to our weekly group bachata classes, where we create a very fun and friendly atmosphere for you to have a good time and experience meeting new people! Even if you never danced in your life, our group dance lessons you will feel comfortable dancing with a partner and you’ll leave each class excited for the next dance lesson!

- THURSDAYS:

7PM - 8PM BACHATA BEGINNER LEVEL

8PM - 9PM BACHATA INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Beginner Level: In this class you will learn the fundamentals of bachata. The basic turns, footwork, body movements and how to lead/follow to feel comfortable dancing with a partner to be able to improvise and get you ready for the social dance floor.

Intermediate Level: This is the right class for you if you have been taking our Bachata Beginner Level Class for a period of at least 3 months (this depends on your pace of learning) or by the teachers recommendation. In this class you will learn more intricate patterns and turns, arm styling, body isolations and musicality.

PRICE PER PERSON:

$20 drop-in (New Students Only, Save $5)

WHAT TO BRING:

• No special clothes are required, what feels comfortable for you is good.

• No partner or experience necessary to attend.
