Bachata Beginner Workshop in Ghent 💃🕺
For total beginners and new bachata dancers
Curious about bachata, but never really knew where to start?
This workshop is made for people who want to try bachata in a relaxed, social and beginner-friendly way. You can join as a complete beginner, come with a bit of dance experience, or continue building on what you learned in a previous Bachasito workshop.
You will learn the basics, get used to dancing with a partner and feel more comfortable on the dance floor.
Perfect if you want to join bachata parties, socials or festivals, but still feel like you are missing the foundation.

💃 are completely new to bachata
🕺 want to learn the basics properly
🎶 come from another dance style like ballroom, folk, salsa or kizomba
🔥 joined a previous Bachasito workshop and want to keep improving
🤝 enjoy learning in a relaxed and social atmosphere
You can come alone, with friends or with a partner.

We start from the basics and build everything step by step.
You will work on:
🎵 rhythm and timing
👣 basic steps
🤝 partner connection
🧭 leading and following

You will get clear guidance, enough time to practise and a relaxed atmosphere where trying things out is part of the fun.

Joining for the first time?
We guide you from the basics.
Already joined Bachasito before?
We build further on what you know and add new elements, so you can keep growing.
This keeps it accessible for new dancers while giving returning dancers something extra to practise.
Come alone or together 🤝
You can join by yourself, with friends or with a partner.
We use a rotation system, so you practise with different people during the workshop.
It makes learning easier, helps you meet new people and gets you used to dancing with different partners.
