The JUNO award-winning Ottawa Bach Choir (OBC) presents a Baroque performance of Bach’s Johannes-Passion (St. John Passion), BWV 245, on Saturday, March 14, 2026, 7:30 PM, at Christ Church Cathedral, 414 Sparks Street, in Ottawa. Under the direction of Founder and Artistic Director Lisette Canton, the OBC performs Bach’s dramatic retelling of the Passion according to the Gospel of John. Joining the choir will be an array of Canadian and international early-music stars, including soprano Hélène Brunet, countertenors Daniel Taylor and Nicholas Burns, British tenor Charles Daniels (Evangelist & arias) and bass-baritone Edward Grint (Christus & arias), as well as Matthew Li (Pilatus) and Alasdair Campbell (Petrus), along with the Theatre of Early Music baroque orchestra.

Le Chœur Bach d’Ottawa (OBC), lauréat d’un prix JUNO, présente une interprétation baroque de la Johannes-Passion (La Passion selon saint Jean) de Bach, BWV 245, le samedi 14 mars 2026, à 19 h 30, à la cathédrale Christ Church, 414, rue Sparks, à Ottawa. Sous la direction de sa fondatrice et directrice artistique Lisette Canton, l'OBC interprète la dramatisation de la Passion selon l'Évangile de Jean par Bach. Le chœur sera accompagné d'une pléiade d’étoiles canadiennes et internationales de la musique ancienne, dont la soprano Hélène Brunet, les contre-ténors Daniel Taylor et Nicholas Burns, le ténor britannique Charles Daniels (Évangéliste et airs) et le baryton-basse Edward Grint (Christus et airs), avec Matthew Li (Pilatus) et Alasdair Campbell (Petrus), ainsi que l'orchestre baroque du Theatre of Early Music.
