Spend an unforgettable summer afternoon among the lavender fields and vineyards of Fredericksburg with BACH & BORDEAUX — a relaxed and immersive celebration of the Six Cello Suites of Johann Sebastian Bach.

Performed by the outstanding young artists of the 2026 Fredericksburg Music Festival and School, this rotating concert experience marks the culmination of a two-week intensive workshop with guest artist Steuart Pincombe.

Guests are invited to wander the beautiful grounds of Becker Vineyards, enjoy a glass of wine, and experience Bach’s timeless masterpieces in an informal European-style atmosphere of music, conversation, and community.

Rather than a traditional seated concert, BACH & BORDEAUX unfolds in three rotating musical sets throughout the afternoon:

Cello Suites No. 5 & No. 6

Each suite will be performed by different festival artists, offering six unique musical voices through one of the greatest achievements in all of music.

Whether you stay for a single set or linger for the entire afternoon, this is a rare opportunity to experience Bach’s complete cello suites in the warm, relaxed setting of Texas wine country.
