Direct And Indirect Decision Making For Posterior Teeth: Composite vs Ceramic
This lecture will focus on the conundrum faced by dentists on a daily basis and that is the decision making between when you choose a direct composite filling vs an indirect cuspal coverage onlay.
For too long clinicians have been either providing large composites or full crowns, and the grey area of onlays is often a topic of confusion for many. However with clear guidelines and protocols, this lecture aims to provide a predictable workflow for when to provide cuspal coverage. This lecture will also summarise the adhesive protocols and build up techniques for large composites and preparation protocols for functional indirect posterior onlays (FIPO)
