Minding the Gap Across the Pond: Practical Tips for Navigating US-UK Business

Join us for an enlightening luncheon on Friday, March 28, at Delmonico's Steak House as we explore the value of the BACC and how it fosters meaningful connections within the transatlantic community.
Co-speakers Chris Carey, VP and Portfolio Manager at , and Christy Woskobojnik, Client Manager and Business Development at , are both BACC members and seasoned experts in helping businesses and individuals navigate the complexities of relocating between the US and the UK.
In this session, we’ll share:

  • Real-life experiences of transatlantic relocation
  • Practical tips for bridging the cultural and professional gap between the UK and the US
  • How to leverage the expansive US-UK networks to build lasting connections
  • The many ways the Ohio expats stay engaged with British culture, including through initiatives like The Loxley Purse, the Cultural Garden, and social events such as the Scottish Games and Ryder Cup.

With over 10 years of expertise in helping UK businesses set up in the US, Christy will offer valuable insights into navigating both the logistical and cultural aspects of relocation. Chris, who has lived the individual side of this experience, will share his journey, shedding light on the challenges and opportunities from a personal perspective.
Whether you're a business professional, an expat, or someone interested in expanding your global network, this event offers both clarity and practical advice on how to successfully navigate the transatlantic journey.
We'll conclude with a Q&A session, so bring your questions and engage with our speakers.
